Summer Reading List

I decided that I would put together a reading list to share with you guys because 1.) I need something to do 2.) if you follow my blog you probably like to read. My good friend Paulina (shout out!)inspired me to do this actually.
Oh and speaking of Paulina (I imagine you’re kind of worried about what I’m say at this point) we are starting to write at Proof, See the Evidence. If you could stop by and say hi that would be great!
Onto the actual post. Here you go!

Beguiled

Beguiled by Deeanne Gist and J. Mark Bertrand

I found this book on a shelf in our basement. *shrugs* I mean whatever works right?

matched

Matched by Ally Condie

I’ve read at least half of this before and never got into it. I didn’t hate it (which is what I typed at first), but I mean honestly. I didn’t hate it at all. I think that now that I’m older (I tried reading it in 7th grade and now I’m in 9th) I might like it more.

my stubborn heart

My Stubborn Heart by Becky Wade

I’ve started this one and don’t love it. It’s a good story. I LOVE the characters. But not much has happened so far. I’m just past 100 pages though, so maybe it’ll pick up.

sneak

Sneak by Even Angler

This book is different than what I usually read, but different is good! Absolutely nothing agaisnt different.

swimming through clouds

Swimming Throug Clouds by Rajdeep Paulus

I’m actually really excited to read this. Playlist fiction (from what I’ve seen) is really quite awesome.

The fault in our stars

The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

I told myself that I would never read this book. Because I thought it was about how all of the people in Hollywood were stupid. *laughs* Well apparently I wasn’t paying very good attention. I’m really excited to read this book also! Now that I know what it’s about….

the witness

The Witness by Dee Henderson

Dee Henderson is easily one of my favorite authors. She wrote the O’Malley series, which is probably my favorite series ever.

there you'll find me

There You’ll Find Me by Jenny B. Jones

Ms. Jones is definitely another favorite author. Her stories are hilarious, suspenseful, and entertaining.

You don't know me

You Don’t Know Me by Susan May Warran

I’ve never heard of this book or author before, but I went to a bookstore with enough money to buy two books, and this one looked really good.

Oh! And I’ve already read these, but I would suggest adding them to YOU’RE summer reading list.

glass girl

perfect glass

These two books are seriously amazing. For anyone who is a teenager or adult. I gave them to my mom to read, and my mom was like “Oh, well they seem okay, but more geared toward teenagers” and after our “good mornings” the next day, I asked her what she thought and she said “Best book ever!”.

Have you ever read any of these? What books are on your summer reading list?
